We have handled over 200 appeals in Federal and state courts in support, lead counsel and supervisory roles. In addition to handing both civil and criminal appeals, we also have experience with amicus briefs and appeals handled by the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the Army Court of Criminal Appeals. Because of our significant level of experience, we understand the distinct differences between arguing at the appellate versus trial court level and possess a comprehensive understanding of appellate procedure in both state and federal court, as well a military courts. Finally, we possess substantial briefing experience, and understand that the goal at the appellate level is not to prove a mistake but how that mistake erroneously affected the outcome of your case.
